Web Hosting Geeks has been rating, reviewing and awarding web site hosting providers since 2004. If you are looking for a new provider or just want to see what is available through other web hosting providers, check out Web Hosting Geeks.
On their website, you will find hosts for those of us on a budget, with blogs, with forums or those that require domain hosting for one or more domains. Do you want to provide email or open an online store? What platform do you prefer for your sites? UNIX, Windows or PHP? No problem; find these types and other web host providers on the website of the Web Hosting Geeks.
There are about three main choices for web hosting. In a shared server environment, the web hosting company owns and manages the server, upgrades, maintenance and support. You pay a set amount per month, with extra charges for options you may choose, like extra bandwidth or storage, extensions or security certificates.
Virtual hosting is a method that web hosting companies use to host more than one domain name on the same computer, some time with the same IP. In dedicated hosting, the web hosting company also owns the server, but only your website(s) or blog(s) is/are hosted on the dedicated server. Usually there are no additional charges, just a flat rate per month or quarter.
With the help of the Web Hosting Geeks, you may also identify hosting providers that give you more than others do. These incentives may take the advertising credits (Yahoo! or Google), a free domain name, unlimited hosting or hosting powered by green technologies.
Before you decide on a provider, make sure you read the customer reviews on the Web Hosting Geeks website. If you have a question about content management systems, using FTP to upload files to your website, or how Joomla or Plesk work, you should read the Web Hosting Geeks blog.
Once you have narrowed down the choice of web hosting providers, you may conduct your own research with the individual web host. This is an important decision for any webmaster. Make the correct choice with the help of Web Hosting Geeks!

Thanks for the info! I know a lot of people search for budget hosting, I mean why pay high prices when you're only using it for a bit of blogging and stuff. I'll be sure to direct some friends of mine to this site!
I am choosing a host for my new website just now. But the only thing I cannot chose is the OS type. Unix or Windows. Windows seems to be so familiar and common, however Unix is popular due to its stability. I kind of stack in my selection.
