Teach Your Children About Credit

Cards such as PAYjr Visa Buxx are becoming popular for kids and may change the way our children handle their money. Money earned through the completion of chores, recurring allowances, and even gifts can be loaded onto the card.

The PAYjrVisaBuxx Card is a way to teach your children the connection between their hard work (chores) and the payoff (allowance).

If your child is at least 13 years old, you can load up a prepaid teen card and help your teenager learn to budget and to spend responsibly. Currently, there is a contest on the website where teens may design their own card.

Teach your children well. As soon as they attend college, they will be offered credit cards. Help them to develop the proper skills for handling debt, payments, and budgets associated with credit cards.
