Viral YouTube Dove Evolution Won at Cannes

The film winner at the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival was Dove's Evolution from Ogilvy, Toronto. Evolution was a 60+ second spot; it made the cut because someone at one point had run the advertisement on TV.





So, is it art? Is it an advertisement? Or, is it a statement? What do you think of this ad?

I think it makes me feel a little bit better about not waking up looking like all I need is just a dab of eyeliner, or the fact that even with an hour in front of a mirror not even that woman would look like the final picture.

@kate-I feel the same. If you have to resort to Photoshop, maybe its time to redefine beauty.
